NOVA Comics and Games is proud to have been one of the largest
HeroClix playing venues in Northern Virginia. HeroClix, by WizKids, Inc., is an award-winning collectible miniatures game that involves role-playing and strategy. Each player constructs a "force" of game pieces, each of which represents comic book characters (typically superheroes and supervillains). Recently, Topps, Inc. closed the WizKids division of their company, effectively ending the Heroclix line of games. However, we here at NOVA Comics will continue to support this fun and innovative form of game play! Our Venue Judge, George Ward, will continue to host events here at our retail location in Springfield, Virginia, for as long as there is interest. NOVA will continue to stock boosters and starter sets as long as they are available. The gaming schedule will be available below, and will be updated with new additions as they are scheduled. |
